Psychic abilities are extraordinary. It is characterized by perception of sensory information that is beyond the normal realm of human perception of the five senses. Some people refer to psychic abilities as having a sixth sense, however, this statement is erroneous. Psychic ability simply comes from extremely well-developed senses that work beyond the limitations of the normally perceptible physical world. One does not have to have special powers to be considered a psychic. The dictionary defines the term “psychic” as “of or pertaining to the mind or human soul,” or “sensitive to influences or forces of a nonphysical or supernatural nature.” Therefore, having special powers is not requisite to be considered psychic. It simply connotes that an individual has a heightened awareness of forces or beings of a nonphysical nature. People have always believed that the world is controlled by unseen forces. Psychics are in touch with that side of reality.

Despite the dictionary’s clear bias in attempting to define that which is “psychic” using words like “supernatural,” psychic phenomena has been recorded throughout human history. It is an enduring aspect of human experience and has not yet been completely refuted. Modern science and psychology has yet to fully understand what is consciousness and psychic phenomena is clearly a factor to consider in answering this challenging question. Psychic ability is therefore part of the natural world despite its non-physical and esoteric nature. Psychics are very in touch with their intuitions. Everyone has an intuition; therefore, everyone has the capacity to be psychic. Most people who are psychics have a natural predisposition to psychic ability but everyone can open their minds up to psychic knowledge. There are many signs of psychic ability, the list below is only a few common signs:
• Incidents of precognition, knowing something is going to happen before it does.
• Highly vivid or lucid dreams.
• Ability to be easily hypnotized.
• Sudden electrical fluctuations or failure when near electrical objects or appliances.
• Anxiety arisen without cause.
• Sudden changes in energy level.
• frequent deja vu
• knowing who calls as the telephone rings (without caller ID).
• Feeling a connectedness with all people and places.
• Dreams that come true.
